Attorney James White has a vast and broad range of legal experience. In 2000 James White founded White Law PLLC, which has since grown to be one of the primary litigation firms in Mid Michigan. Mr. White is a decorated veteran of the US Army, where he served as a reservist from 1989 to 1997 while attending Michigan State University.
Mr. White is an experienced trial attorney having tried numerous homicide and serious felony cases to completion in various Michigan courts.
Prior to practicing law, Mr. White was the director of the Ingham County Adolescent Health Education Program managing a budget of hundreds of thousands of dollars in addition to more than 20 employees. This program was nationally recognized by president Bill Clinton in 1997. Mr. White served on other various boards and actively participates in humanitarian and charitable efforts in the Greater Lansing Community.
Over the past 15 years, Mr. White has handled thousands of cases ranging from Homicide, narcotics trafficking, criminal sexual conduct, DUI, Driver’s License Appeals and Restorations, and weapons offenses. He has successfully tried numerous high profile criminal cases throughout the tri-county area.
In addition to criminal practice, Mr. White has successfully litigated numerous personal injury and discrimination matters including but not limited to, a lawsuit against the City of Lansing and the Lansing Police Department resulting in a settlement of 1.1 million dollars.
