Alexander S. Rusek is a senior associate attorney with White Law PLLC in Okemos, Michigan. Arising from the wide-spread and unchecked sexual assaults perpetrated by Dr. Lawrence (Larry) Nassar at Michigan State University, U.S. Gymnastics sites, and across the globe, attorney James White has represented over 160 women and girls in their journey seeking justice. Attorney Alexander Rusek and the White Law PLLC successfully brought a lawsuit against the City of Lansing for severe personal injuries to his client following the reckless operation of a police cruiser by a Lansing Police Department police officer. This complex multi-party litigation resulted in a successful settlement for his client in excess of $1,000,000.00. Complex issues such as actual liability and governmental immunity were overcome by White Law PLLC’s representation of its client.
Civil Litigation Against Multi-National Enbridge Energy Partners, L.P.
Attorney Alexander Rusek and White Law PLLC represented numerous land-owner clients in civil litigation against energy giant Enbridge Energy Partners, L.P. following the Enbridge Line 5 oil spill near Marshall, Michigan. After more than 1.2 million gallons of oil were spilled into the Talmadge Creek and the Kalamazoo River, White Law PLLC was able to successful recover damages for our clients arising from the contamination of their land on and near the contaminated waters. Mr. Rusek was able to work with numerous parties and entities to reach successful settlements for White Law PLLC’s clients that included requirements that their contaminated land be restored to its natural beauty.
