In Michigan, 11 priests have been charged after a two-year investigation into sexual abuse allegations in the state’s Catholic churches. This investigation has uncovered 454 accused priests and 811 victims thus far.
Given that the vast majority of sexual assaults are never brought to light, there may be hundreds more. The immeasurable impact of these abuses committed against children is profound.
The Michigan priest sex abuse list is a compilation of Roman Catholic clergy members accused of sexual assault or sexual abuse of minors. This list was prepared by White Law PLLC. If you are a survivor of sexual abuse, we may be able to help.

It is important to remember that a person suspected of or charged with a crime in the United States is presumed innocent unless proven guilty. Similarly, potential defendants in civil lawsuits are believed to be innocent until proven guilty. Settlements in civil or private matters rarely involve an admission of guilt or liability.
Your Fight Is Our Fight
I Don’t See an Abuser’s Name on Michigan’s List of Accused Priests. What Should I Do?
Several factors could prevent the name of your abuser from appearing on our list of priests who have been accused of sexual misconduct in Michigan.
It is possible that the abusive clergy person has been reported to authorities in another state or that the allegations against the abusive clergy member have not yet been investigated.
Even if the perpetrator of the abuse is not on this list, you may still have legal recourse. Our sexual abuse lawyers have extensive experience handling cases involving sexual misconduct. The lead attorney has proudly represented victims in nationally recognized sexual abuse cases, including representing hundreds of Boy Scouts of America victims and clergy sex abuse victims.
Our hope is that these lists will bring closure to the families of those who have been wronged. We also hope that those who haven’t come forward will find the courage to do so, knowing they will be heard.
There May Be Legal Recourse If You Were Abused by a Priest. Don’t Give Up Hope
